It is the most relaxing thing ever.

I am in love with this app! Its really cool and realistic. Only, I wish there was more stories to play, that the rain would bead up so it seems even more realistic, and the the music could play on its own. Otherwise, I love and recommend it of you love the rain and the sounds it makes :)

its great for relaxation but needs a landscape mode for projecting.

I love it. Its soothing, calms the nerves, and helps you forget all the bad things or helps you slumber.

Would be great if you could substitute lightning for the plane as an alternate selection. Ive always loved rainy days and thunder/lightning would be the icing on the cake! This app can put you in a meditative state, really helping you forget any stressors, which for me seems odd given the circumstance of the storyline. So, to some of the naysayers Ive read, this app is not for those expecting a game or a fun app. I suppose that those that are disappointed dont really understand the intent of this app. If you enjoy a little depth of mind, an unusual approach to story-telling and a really ultra-dimension-feel app, Strange Rain is it! And no, I do not work for them.

This app uses the medium of the iPad to express something truly new and beautiful. I wish there were more apps like this one out there. Sometimes Ill just sit and play with it before I go to sleep. Its one of those apps I keep going back to.

This app has to be one of the coolest Ive ever had the pleasure to purchase. Its definitely worth the 2 bucks. If your a deep thinking kind of person give it a shot, or if youre just into interesting and bizarre things!

Strange Rain the app always helps me get a better sleep,its even better than rain apps that are supposed to make you sleep ! It is definitely soothing. Definitely the weirdest but coolest apps ive ever owned !

No matter what I type, the twitter feed search always has no results. Then, the search bar never goes away regardless of which menu or any part of the app Im on.

The app works well, yeah. The story mode is well made. However, Im deducting two stars because of my personal enjoyment of the app. The story itself is really depressing. The sad thoughts coupled with the rain make a very somber and sad atmosphere. Theres no real way to make the story end happily. You get no closure. On the whole, the regular mode bored me after a little while and the story mode made me depressed and unhappy. I wish I had downloaded something that would have improved my overall mood instead.

Sometimes, when I cant sleep, I let it play til I fall asleep. So soothing. I love rain and it makes ME (a-hem) happy at least while I listen or play the app. Plus, "Depressing Storyline?!?!" Guys, rain is ASSOCIATED with sadness. Sorry.

Ive loved this app since i got it. I keep coming back to it now and again -- its very engaging, really relaxing. Can we have an update for the iPhone 5?

Enchanting, somber, with a musical twist. Strange Rain is strange in a beautiful way.

Once youve played for 5 minutes youve pretty much seen it all. Cute idea but... Eh. Not worth it.

The rain is beautiful....why ruin it by making me have to repeatedly tap the glass to keep the music playing? The rains not strange....the app is. Just let the rain fall with beautiful background music and it will be a quality app.

Im really enjoying the rain, but there must be a way to disable the Game Center popup. I have no interest in Game Center, but EVERY TIME I open the app it pops up. I only got the app today, so this will get annoying quickly. Will the forecast show Strange Rain for tomorrow? Not if GC sticks around!

This app is whatever you want it to be. You can just watch the rain. You can interact with the rain and experiment with the music-- or not. The graphics are beautiful and the rain sounds are better than those in most apps in the oversaturated "nature sounds" genre. But this app can be much more, if youre open to it... The most special thing about this for me is the story-- "electronic literature" will be my next websearch rabbithole; I can tell that already. Just a really creative idea, in an interface that lures you into the storytellers stream-of-consciousness. The possibilities for this app are endless and the developers seem to encourage that via occasional suggestions. Make this app what you will. My only gripe is that its connected to GameCenter, that pesky wart of a program that I stash in a folder called "crAPPs." The achievements (using that term verrrry loosely) in this app are optional and not really quantifiable. GameCenter, Dont Kill My Vibe. Please make that sign-in intro screen go away!

This is a very interesting app. Great job by the developer.

Its a great app but could be better if it would play in the background while in sleep mode.

I love rain and this turns it into something sad. Boo!
