Truly beautiful app. Well put together and a real pleasure to calmly enjoy. In my opinion this app raises the bar. Music was wonderful and it works great on my first gen iPad. Only thing I would have loved would have been the odd lighting strike interacting as you played the melody in wordless mode. Truly amazing... Thank you!

The sounds are nice. Its when you have to "reset the game" by tapping the screen as fast as you can that when you start to "fall out of the sky" you will get an air plain crashing. What the heck?!?! That is not relaxing.

This is absolutely NOT relaxing ! Dont loose your time (and money).

this is a great idea for an app! kudos! but it could use (A LOT) improvement: the music doesnt work on my iPhone (4s)!!! please fix! other than that this is fun and relaxing for a while, slightly boring in other modes, and I cant seem to get anywhere on story mode, (just repetitive - he NEVER goes inside)

1: you cant make anything other than RANDOM MUSIC. 2: moving the remote - useless. Panning is too limited 3: mash tapping sends you to another background. THIS IS NOT RELAXING!!! It makes me want to throw the remote at the TV. Pointless garbage app

Its my understanding that the developer intends to make it available to upload your own stories. He also will continually enhance the experience so that it stays fresh. Think of this as a new platform for telling your own story. As such, it will take time to evolve into what his final vision for this is. I for one look forward to the time when it realizes that. But for now I still pull it out and let my mind drift into it. Great to clear my head of unwanted chatter. And as for Mr. Weird, its not for everyone, just those who dont need a gun or steering wheel in their hands to appreciate a work of art.

Okay, I dont care what other people say. This is a super cool app that tells you a story in small thoughts, like a mystery that you have to put together, piece by piece. It also has a "low rez" cloud texture, that turns different colors, but I think thats part of the beauty. Also when you touch the screen it makes these little noises that reminds me of that song, Little April Showers, from Bambi. This is my favorite app! P.S. it really gets your creative juices flowing!

Im a sucker for the games that push the boundries and toy with our standard conception of a game, but for these games to work, they need some level of interactivity and this is where Strange Rain falls apart. Our protoganist is outside a hosptial, standing in the rain, left to contemplate what has just happened. Its an interesting premise but the extremely limited interactivity literally has the user tap the screen to bring randomly bring up thoughts and revelations. Its random, moves slowly and the only changes are our protangists view of the sky melds as he falls deeper into the minds abyss. Without any imagery to be conjured and no control over his actions, theres little interactive about the story other than ones perservance to see it through. Its a straight narrative but lacking to really be worth the time investiment.

If you want five stars ... Give this app an option to play the musical pieces without having to tap, and to do this at a user-selected speed or at a speed that randomly changes throughout the piece.

Id like the raindrops to be louder. I can hear other rain effects on other apps at the same vol setting and they are louder. Other than that this is one of my most used apps. Good job on it. Thank you.

I cant get over this app. Its so original and interesting, and the sound of rain is so soothing. The music is delightfully creepy. The storyline gets a bit repetitive after a while, but is fascinating the whole way through, in my opinion. Strange happenings are not strange enough- needs more strangeness!!! And new stories would be excellent. Love this app, highly recommend it!!!

The interface is very unique, and the story about a man with family troubles touched me, even if it progressed rather slowly. This app is an experience like no other.

Why cant I get him to come in from the rain?? Thats the only trophy I have left to get!! Ugh!! Is it broken? Can anyone else get it?

I was already in love with Strange Rain, but the update is the icing on the cake! Cumulus Effect is a stunning, strangely relaxing composition, and the black raindrops are great. My wish now is for the cake topper: make it so I can tap away in the rain, enjoying the sound of the rain and the music, without that blasted noisy jet disturbing my reverie! Next update, maybe? And soon? But otherwise, fantastic job!

Love this! Utterly unique and captivating. I love the mysterious artistic aesthetic and feel to the app. At first I did not like the airplane, but now (surprisingly) I find myself looking forward to its strange and fleeting presence.
